You will receive a FuelRod Kit for $15.00 (35% off regular price) as well as special “swap” pricing through the FuelRod app. Education pricing is available to current and newly accepted CMHS students and their parents, as well as faculty, staff, and alumni.

Yes. The micro-USB/USB cable provided in the FuelRod kit can be used to recharge it. Simply plug the smaller micro-USB tip into the FuelRod and the larger USB tip into any USB charging port. The LED light will change from red to green when your FuelRod is fully charged.

Yes. FuelRod is designed to keep you on the go and unplugged from an outlet. When you need a fresh one just swap it out at the nearest FuelRod kiosk.

Run time will vary based on many factors such as, your device type, battery size, cellular strength or WIFI connection, apps running in the background, ambient temperature, and current battery charge level. Typically, FuelRods will provide 5 to 6 hours of extra run time on your smart phone.

Yes. When charging, FuelRods will experience a small amount of heating; this is typical for a portable charger.
